GUIDELINES FOR USE

Never split wood directly on the ground but use a log, so that the tool blade is not damaged by striking the ground.

SAFETY ADVICE

Wear safety goggles, gloves and protective clothing.
Adopt a safe position and make sure that the blade cannot injure the user during cutting.
Do not strike an axe or hatchet with a hammer or sledge hammer as there is a risk of flying chips and of breaking the socket.
Replace blade guard after use.

MAINTENANCE ADVICE

Sharpening: Try to sharpen your tool after each use with a file or a sharpening stone. Sharpen the blade from the middle to the outside and the two faces and maintain the original angle. Never use an angle grinder as this can destroy the effects of prior heat treatment.
