USE Novagrip handles are very easily fitted to tools with a conical socket, except for Novagrip handles for shovels, spades, long-iron spades and digging forks which are screwed to the handle.
Novagrip handles are available:
- either pre-fitted to Leborgne tools,
- or as replacement handles. They are suitable for the majority of tools on the market.
They are therefore perfectly suited to:
- percussion tools such as
sledge hammers,
mauls and
axes or building hammers (
claw hammers, club hammers and hatchets etc.).
- tools subjected to bending loads such as
spades, forks and
picks.
PRODUCT BENEFITS High strength fibreglass core.
- Polypropylene sleeve shrouding the core: ergonomics, design.
Elastomeric anti-slip, anti-vibration grip: comfortable to hold.
Rot-proof: Does not degrade over time.
Will not dry out: Permanent connection between socket and handle, whatever the conditions.
Hanging hole: Easy to display at retail.
SAFETY ADVICE Although fibreglass handles have a longer life than wooden handles, they should still be examined regularly, especially after a mis-hit. If the handle shows cracks in the outer skin, you are strongly advised to replace it.

CHOOSING A TOOL Nova, the first ever fibreglass handle, was created by Leborgne for woodcutting tools because woodcutting has always used a lot of replacement handles due to mis-hits. For your comfort and safety a Novagrip fibreglass handle is practically essential as a first choice for these tools, since the cost is very often recovered in just a single day's work...
