SAFETY ADVICE
Wear protective goggles, gloves and clothing.
The main hazard with this type of tool is flying metal particles either from the tool or the object being struck. These particles can be caused by a metallurgical defect, improper use or tool fatigue.
Hammers can cause sparks: do not use them in flammable or explosive atmospheres.
Regular inspection of the handle is highly recommended, especially after a mis-hit, in case the tool needs to be scrapped or its handle changed
